Having a child who had a physical disability, Rena’s parents recognized the benefits of assigning her household chores. With each weekly task completed, Rena’s confidence grew and she learned to become self sufficient, which her family believed would help Rena later on in life. And it did!

During her 10 year career as a Youth Program Coordinator, Rena developed, coordinated and delivered several Workshops on various topics which have included but were not limited to:
