I am a woman living with Cerebral Palsy who has spent the last 7 years traveling with assistance from a Personal Support Worker.
Through my many years of experience, I have become aware of my responsibilities and have learned to establish guidelines/boundaries with my traveling companion.
To help with traveling expenses, I have applied and received funding through the Vacation Funding Program offered by the Ontario Federation for Cerebral Palsy.
As a way of enriching people's traveling experience my company, Just Believe is proud offer Traveling Companions.
In my role as a liaison, several face-to-face meetings would be facilitated between the traveler and the Personal Worker before embarking on a trip.
I hope that by providing this unique service, it will increase a person's independence and will make their vacation much more memorable.
Warmest Regards,
